First-rate historical drama television series on The History Channel. It manages to both spurt testosterone from the TV screen while also featuring interesting, intelligent, women. The first extended drama from the 790s. Many of the male actors provide plenty of mutton-cake. This episode features a full on crucifixion of an apostate priest who integrated into Viking society and was then recaptured by the English. The actor who plays the priest is not one of the roughest men on the scene, but still provides some nice prime-time bondage.

Hammer of the Gods (2013) starring Charlie Bewley. Bad. I only watched this because it is an earlier proto-Vikings themed film co-starring a never shirtless Clive Standen. The very-short, uninspired upside-bondage scene was a small plus. While Vikings has offered up a crucifixion and some human sacrifices, Clive has yet to be restrained. He is OFTEN wonderfully shirtless, however. The one image of him shirtless above is from Vikings and not from this bad movie.
